Americana Festival

Description:
Taking place throughout the Fourth of July Weekend, the Americana Festival has a number of activities for families to participate in. The event will start off with a fireworks display on July 3 at the Centerville High School Stadium. The festival will also have an auto show, 5K, community concert and a street fair.

Kayak Rentals at RiverScape with Taiters Kayak Solutions

Description:
Paddle under the fountains with Taiters Kayak Solutions all summer long at RiverScape MetroPark! Regular walk-up rental hours will take place Tuesdays from 2-6pm and Thursdays from 4-8pm, June-October. Launch from under the Riverside Bridge along the Great Miami Recreational Trail. The cost to participate is $12 per person per hour.
Taiters Kayak Solutions staff will provide visitors with brief instructions prior to entering the water, which will include a safety tutorial, and help visitors get into their vessels. All visitors will be required to wear a properly fitted life jacket. Swimming is prohibited in the Great Miami River, but visitors should come prepared to get wet. Those renting will not be permitted to go through the RiverScape River Run whitewater feature.

We will provide UV body-safe paint to adorn yourself prior to the start, and we’ll swap out all our bulbs for blacklights! Come and get trippy with it!
Don’t forget to wear clothing or makeup that reacts to UV light (neon colors and white!)
*Doors open at 7pm to get grounded, hydrate, and commune. If you’d like to prepare yourself a warm beverage, please arrive no later than 7:15p. The official experience begins around 7:30p.
We’ll gather ‘round the full moon energies to raise the vibration of Mama Earth. She is aching for our heartbeats.
You need not be experienced with any of the above, we are here to welcome you home!
If you have your own noisemaker (drum, rattle, tambourine, etc.) please feel welcome to bring it. We will have drums, and other instruments available too! This is not your typical drum circle, come with a wild and open heart!
